ideal spot for park views and local dining options

the hotel is a quick five-minute walk to Arby's and just over a kilometer to Fair Park, perfect for an evening stroll and dinner break during my city exploration.

The room is huge and large, the staff are very friendly people from check-in to check-out. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and coffee/tea making machines are available...

The staff were caring, and the room was well-appointed with pull out couch and 2 firm queen beds and attractive bedding. The location turned out to be comfortable, not far from a truck stop across the stree and Childress, Tx.

Nothing, all was good.

The filthy bedding was a good surprise, nothing like sleeping on what appeared to be history's worst coverlet. The pool was not operational at all, which I guess is a selling point? I really expected to be rewarded for my Hilton loyalty, but the staff acted like staying there was a privilege. Just couldn't give more than one star for this.

Consider asking for the second floor if you're a light sleeper, as first-floor rooms can be noisy.

The breakfast selection included a nice variety of options. The rooms were spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax .

The carpet in the hallways was spotted and in need of cleaning, not the best first impression. Issues with the window blinds allowed too much early morning light, while the TV froze frequently on various channels was great.

I had a comfortable stay. the bed and pillows were really cozy. The breakfast selection was enjoyable, especially the smoothies! However, I did notice some maintenance issues in the room.

Family with kids stay? Avoid it!

The check-in was surprisingly quick and super friendly! The staff were ready to assist, and that was nice. But, sadly, that was the only highlight.

For the price we paid, it really wasn't worth it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice desk and a side table, made it easy to spread out. The breakfast area was well stocked, providing plenty of options to start the day. The air conditioning worked great during the heat of Childress, keeping the room nice and cool.

The evening staff were super friendly, and my kid had a blast splashing around in the pool, a highlight of our visit!

My wife says that room cleanliness could use attention.

The location is comfy and absolutely perfect, near to Childress for the first time while making the 870 mile drive. It has caring and genuinely helpful employees from check-in to check-out. - the breakfast choices are free and nice hot with sausage and oatmeal, for instance.

We had a great stay in a family room on the top floor, enjoying the peaceful location near the courthouse and a truck stop, after a long day of driving.

This venue is located in a nice, open area with lots of tables to enjoy.
